Saturday, April 12, 2014 the CU Boulder campus is hosting multiple events which will impact parking and traffic throughout campus from 6:30 AM – 8:00 PM.
- The Republican State Convention will be held at the Coors Event and Conference Center, with an estimated attendance of 8,500. Increased traffic in that immediate area is expected from 6:30 AM through 4:00 PM.
- CU Spring Football and Healthy Kids Day is scheduled at Folsom Field beginning at noon with an estimated attendance of 5,000. Increased traffic in that immediate area is expected from approximately 10:00 AM through 4:00 PM.
- The International Festival, held at the UMC, expects approximately 4,000 attendees from 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM.
- Multiple events will cause parking and traffic impacts throughout the day. Please see the attached map for parking locations.
With limited parking available, and possible traffic congestion alternative transportation is suggested. Please check the RTD website for transit information and schedules.
